Sindh governor Saeeduzzaman Siddiqui passes away

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Justice (retd) Saeeduzzaman Siddiqui Wednesday passed away at the age of 78, Samaa reported.
According to our correspondent, following chest pain, Siddiqui was taken to South City Hospital, where he breathed his last.
The 31st governor of Sindh had taken oath on November 11, 2016 replacing Dr Ishratul Ebad. He was admitted to hospital on the same day.
He got discharged on December 15 from the hospital after intensive care unit (ICU) was set up in the Governor House.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and President Mamnoon Hussain have expressed profound grief over the demise of the governor.

RAWALPINDI: Arrest warrants for supermodel Ayyan Ali were issued Thursday morning by an Islamabad court in the murder case of a customs officer.
