PIA Strikes Deal with Air Blue, Shaheen Air on Domestic Routes ISLAMABAD: Bogged down by striking workers, the national flag carrier Pakistan International Airlines reached an agreement with private airliners – Air Blue and Shaheen Air – under which PIA ticket holders can fly with these airlines on domestic destinations. Daniyal Gilani, a spokesman of the state-run PIA, told Samaa that under the arrangement those passengers who have confirmed PIA tickets can fly with private airlines on all domestic routes.

Flight Schedule ‘Undisturbed’ as PIA Workers Protest KARACHI: Despite enforcement of Essential Services Maintenance Act (ESMA), the workers of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) are all set to go ahead with their plan to bring countrywide flight operations to standstill today (Tuesday), Samaa reported. However, PIA management claims the schedule is not disturbed anywhere in the country. PIA spokesman Danyal Gilani, while speaking to Samaa , said flights from Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi and other cities departed as per schedule.
