Rangers says no to MQM strike

KARACHI: Making a tough statement, Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) has nixed Muttahida Qaumi Movement's (MQM) strike-call by issuing a warning against 'forced shutdown' of businesses, schools, and transport in Sindh in general and Karachi in particular, Samaa reported.

This statement comes minutes after the MQM announced to observe a day of mourning and a Sindh-wide shutterdown strike for Monday over a party worker, Mohammad Hashim's, alleged extrajudicial killing.
