46 Pakistanis confirmed dead in Mina; 53 still missing








ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Ministry for Religious Affairs has confirmed martyrdom of 46 Pakistani pilgrims in Mina stampede, with 53 said to be still missing five days after the incident, Samaa reported.
According to information released on the ministry’s official website, 46 Pakistani pilgrims have been martyred while 40 others are injured. Their details have been issued on the website: www.hajjinfo.org
According to the official data, at least 10 injured pilgrims are still under treatment in Al-Noor Specialist Hospital, King Faisal Al- Shisha Hospital, King Abdul Aziz (Al-Zahir) Hospital and Pakistan Hajj Medical Mission Hospital in Makkah.
Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Yousuf says 53 Pakistani pilgrims were still missing, adding that efforts were being made to trace them.
