Altaf Hussain reverses decision to quit MQM

KARACHI: Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain announced to quit the party leadership once again and shifted the helm of affairs to Dr. Farooq Sattar. However, entreaties of the party workers forced him to withdraw his decision.
It should be mentioned here that Altaf Hussain was addressing the hunger strike camp in progress at Karachi Press Club (KPC). He all of a sudden announced that Farooq Sattar will take over the party henceforth.
Shortly afterwards, he discontinued the telephonic address leaving the crowd in shock. The workers started pleading him to take back his decision.
