Quetta Gladiators Win PSL Opener







DUBAI: Pakistan Super League (PSL) got off the ground to a glittery start with an imposing ceremony as Quetta Gladiators pulled off an upset by trouncing Islamabad United by 8 wickets with 4 overs to spare in the opening match.
The Gladiators’ captain Sarfraz Ahmed won the toss and elected to put the Islamabad United in. Paceman Anwar Ali started the innings with a maiden over and gave no chance to in-form Australian Shane Watson to settle and pave the way for a win.
