Indian filmmaker faces protest at Karachi airport
KARACHI: Citizens at Karachi airport surrounded famous Bollywood director Kabir Khan, protesting against his anti-Pakistan movies, Samaa reported Wednesday.
The Indian filmmaker, who is director of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and "Phantom" movies, flew into Karachi on Tuesday to attend a conference.
Kabir Kahn reached Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport today to fly for Lahore when a handful of people surrounded him, chanting slogan against the director.
“Muslims are massacred in India but you don’t make films on it, why don’t you make movies on RAW,” one male voice is heard saying in the footage, amid chants of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Shame Shame.”
Visibly calm, Kabir Khan maintained silence and headed to the airport's arrival lounge.
