Pakistani star footballer Shahlyla Baloch dies in car accident
KARACHI: Pakistan’s professional footballer Shahlyla Baloch passed away in a tragic car accident late Wednesday night in Karachi, sources report.
Initial reports suggest the deceased was in the passenger seat at the time of the accident.
A striker for Pakistan’s Women’s Football team, Shahlyla played for the club Balochistan United and the national team as well.
Dubbed as the first female to score a hat-trick at the international level, she was a mere 20 years old at the time of her demise.
Her death has left many in shock, as people pour in to Twitter to express their grief.
