SC roster triggers debate on date of Panama case verdict

ISLAMABAD: The new schedule of Supreme Court judges for the week starting on July 31 has broached a debate as to when the much-awaited verdict of Panama Papers case will be announced.
According to the roster, two out of the three judges – which heard the case – will not be available in Islamabad till 11th August.
Justice Ijaz-Ul-Ahsan is going on leave from next week and Justice Azmat Saeed Sheikh will be hearing cases in Supreme Court’s Lahore Registry from Monday, whereas Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan will be hearing other cases in Islamabad.
