Supreme Court to announce Panama verdict today

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court will announce its verdict in Panama Papers case at 11:30 a.m. today (Friday).
A three-member implementation bench of the apex court headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, comprising Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed and Justice Ijazul Ahsan reserved its judgement in the case on 21st of this month.
According to the cause list issued by the Supreme Court, the decision of the Panama Papers case will be announced by a larger bench comprising Justice Asif Saeed Khosa, Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, Justice Gulzar Ahmed, Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed and Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan.

It is the same bench, which heard the Panama Papers case and ordered formation of a Joint Investigation Team with majority decision on 20th April to further probe the matter.
The JIT submitted its report before the three-member implementation bench of the apex court on 10th of this month.
