Imran Khan due in Karachi today

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan, is likely to arrive in Karachi today (Tuesday) on day-long visit.
According to our correspondent, the PTI chairman is scheduled to address a press conference today evening.
During his visit, Khan is expected to join an exhibition at the Expo Center and visit residence of late Maulana Saleemullah Khan, a prominent religious scholar, to express condolence with his family.

Seven killed, 15 injured in Lahore blast LAHORE: A powerful explosion in an upscale shopping area of Lahore killed at least seven people and left more than 15 others injured on Thursday, Samaa reported. According to initial reports, the blast occurred outside a restaurant in a shopping plaza in Defence Block-Z. The blast in the busy market was so powerful that it damaged a portion of the building and shattered windowpanes of several nearby buildings. Shops and vehicles parked near the plaza were also affected. Rescue teams and police rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to hospitals where medics confirmed that seven people have died.
